There are multiple ways to add your Vectera booking page(s) on your website:

  • Embed an iframe in your website to show the entire booking page,
  • add a link in your text, so clients can be forwarded to the booking page
  • or add the contact widget as a button to your website!

After you have created one or multiple contact widgets, you can embed them in your website. Vectera provides 2 options to embed it in your website:

1. Send the code to your webmaster

2. Copy the code and embed the widget yourself

1. Send the code to your webmaster

If a webmaster manages your website, this step is very easy for you. Once you've created a contact widget and you are on the Contact widgets page, you can just click on 'Send to webmaster'. This will open your mail program so you can easily send the code.

2. Copy the code and embed the widget yourself

General

Basically all you have to do is copy the code from the contact widget page and paste in the codebase of your website on the right location.

  1. Go to the Contact widgets page
  2. Click on 'Copy to clipboard' of the relevant widget
  3. Paste the code in your codebase at the place where you want the button to show and publish your website

Note: If you put the button in an iframe and clients click on the button on your website, it wil always open in a new tab. Even if you have selected to open in the same tab in the button behaviour of the contact widget.

Wix

In Wix it's easy to embed the contact widget in your site. Just follow these steps:

  1. Go to the page where you want to add the contact widget code

  3. Click on the '+' of Embed HTML
  4. Drag Embed into the page on the preferred location
  5. Paste the code into the code editor*
  6. Click on Update and Publish the site**

* No matter what you have selected in the button behaviour of the contact widget, when clients click on the button on your website, on Wix websites it wil always open in a new tab.

** Make sure that the iframe is sufficiently large to contain the button.

Congrats, the contact widget is on your website!
