Are emails of booked meetings translated?

By default, all the Vectera emails are in English, but thanks to all the customization options you can edit the email templates to a different language. This means that all the booking emails and meeting room invite emails will be fully translated.

 

How to translate the email templates?

You can either choose to translate the general email templates or the templates of a specific meeting type.

 

Meeting email templates

  1. Go to scheduling or click on this link.

  2. Scroll down until you see the meeting that you would like to change. Click on Edit.

  3. Go to email templates, click on the template you would like to change and edit the text

  4. Save the meeting type

 

Customize the template

Now you can customize the text of the template to your preference. This text can be in your preferred language. You can even use Markdown to put text in bold, italic, ...

 

Don't translate the tags {details}, #{{host_full_name}, ...! They must remain in English to show the correct information.

If you translate the template to a non-supported language (eg. Russian) the meeting title and the description will show in that language but the rest of the email will be in English.

 

 

Which languages are supported?

There are 7 supported languages to translate the booking emails:

  • English

  • Dutch

  • French

  • Italian

  • Spanish

  • German

  • Lithuanian

 

Are Host emails translated?

The language of the host email depends on the user language in our system. You can change the language by going to your own booking page while being logged in and changing the language there.
