Mac and iPhone users are able to activate reactions with certain hand gestures e.g. fireworks, hearts, thumbs up and thumbs down. This might be fun for informal meetings with colleagues and friends, but this doesn't look very professional to clients.
You can easily turn this off in the camera settings of your Mac and iPhone.
Mac
- Activate your camera in Vectera.
- On your Mac a green field with a white camera appears at the top of your view. Click on this field.
- Now you will see that Reactions is in green, which means that it's activated
- Click on Reactions to deactivate it (=grey)
iPhone
- When you're in a call with your camera active, swipe down from the right top
- Click on Effects
- Now click on Reactions so it's not highlighted in white anymore
Learn more about reactions on Apple's support page.
