Are team members permanent?

Just like in your own business, they are not. You can easily add, remove, suspend or delete team members at any time in Settings - Team members:

 

Invite team member

Invite a new team member by clicking on the button 'Invite team member' and choose to send an invite via email or via a link. Read more about inviting a team member in this help article.

 

Suspend / Remove / Permanently delete

When you click on the 3 dots next to a team member’s name you will see the Suspend, Remove and Permanently delete options. 

These 3 options will deactivate the team member in your team in a different way. For all options, the subscription amount will be negatively impacted.

 

 

Suspend 

If you suspend a team member, they will still be a part of your team but won't be able to use their profile anymore until you reactivate it. Suspending a team member is useful if a team member is temporarily unavailable (eg. A long holiday, maternity leave, ..) but you are certain that they will rejoin the team.

 

While being suspended, the meeting types of the team member will be blocked for booking and meeting rooms will remain active based on the access settings. A suspended user will not be included in the subscription.

You can reactivate a team member by clicking on the menu icon (= three dots) on the right side of the name of that person and then click on 'Reactivate'.

 

Remove

You can Remove a team member from your team. This means that they will leave the team but the account will still exist with their meeting rooms, meeting types, … They will be in a separate team.

 

The account won’t be visible in your Member management page anymore, if you want to re-add them to your team, you will have to send them an invite.

 

Permanently delete

If you permanently delete a user, it will remove them from your team but it will also remove everything from this profile (meeting rooms, meeting types, data,..) This step is irreversible and the Vectera team won’t be able to recover any data.

Subscription

Adding, suspending, removing or deleting team members will automatically update your Vectera subscription pro-rata. Vectera will update the subscription once a day when changes have been made in https://www.vectera.com/team/members/.
